Terms of service.

Effective Nov 2, 2026. These terms govern your use of Semaphore’s proxy services.

Draft This page is a working draft for review. Final wording is confirmed before launch.

1. The service

Semaphore provides residential and datacenter proxy connections that route your network requests through IP addresses we operate or license. You configure the quantity, network and locations in your dashboard; we provision the connections and keep them available.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate account details and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by sub-users and automated systems you connect.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with the terms of the sites and services you access through it. You may not use the service to attack, overload or gain unauthorised access to any system, to distribute malware or unsolicited messages, or to collect personal data without a lawful basis. We may suspend connections that are being used in breach of this section.

4. Plans and payment

Plans are priced per IP per month as shown at the time of purchase and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed via Stripe or supported cryptocurrencies. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise in writing.

5. Availability

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee that any specific IP, location or quantity will be available at all times. Where an IP becomes unavailable we replace it; where a location cannot be fulfilled we tell you before charging.

6. Changes and termination

You may cancel at any time from your dashboard; access continues until the end of the paid period. We may change these terms with notice, and may terminate accounts that breach them.

7. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose.
