Your site does not behave the same in every market. Consent banners differ, tag managers load different containers, ad networks serve different creatives, and a misconfigured rule can silently stop analytics for an entire country. The only way to know is to load the site as a visitor from there.
Load the page from the market
Run a headless browser through a residential IP in the target country and record everything: the rendered page, the network log and the console. Playwright’s tracing does this in one call. Repeat for each market you sell in.
What to check
- Consent. Does the banner appear where regulation requires it, and do tags stay quiet until consent is given?
- Tags. Does your analytics request fire, with the right property and the right country in its payload?
- Ads. Are the placements you paid for actually served, and in the right language and currency?
- Performance. Is a third-party script that is fast at home slow or blocked somewhere else?
Make it a job, not a task
Schedule the run daily and diff the network log against yesterday’s. New third-party hosts, missing tags and changed ad domains show up as a short list instead of a long investigation. Keep a few residential IPs per market reserved for this so the checks never compete with other work for the same exits.
